missing entertainment numerous steps
the location was acceptable. it was within walking distance of the rail station.
The description mentioned regular evening entertainment, but there was none . the hotel seems to offer it only a couple of times a month. there were also many steps in and around the hotel. This detail was missing from the description.

easy location free parking lovely food
The location offered easy access into town. The free parking was VERY convenient. I enjoyed the breakfast for three mornings. The food was lovely!!!
The soundproofing was not ideal. I could hear footsteps in the adjoining rooms.

good view breakfast variety stained carpet dated paintwork
My room was a nice size. The views were good from my room. I could see the sea (.. ). Breakfast offered a good variety of options, it was nice.
The carpet in my room had some heavy staining. The paintwork was like it could use some refreshing.
